1. Overview & Single-Purpose Statement
URL Tab Manager is a lightweight browser extension designed for a single utility purpose: bulk managing browser URLs by (1) opening a user-supplied list of links into separate browser tabs, and (2) copying currently active tab URLs to the system clipboard.
This privacy policy explains our strict commitment to user data protection. We believe your browsing activity is entirely your own business.
2. Zero Data Collection Policy
URL Tab Manager does not collect, record, track, transmit, or monetize any user data whatsoever:
- No Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, usernames, or contact information.
- No Browsing History or Telemetry: We do not monitor web pages you visit, search terms, or browser history.
- No Remote Network Requests: The extension operates 100% locally on your machine. There are no
fetch(),XMLHttpRequest, or WebSocket connections to any external servers. - No Tracking or Analytics: There is zero Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Sentry, or third-party tracking scripts bundled.
- No Content Script Injections: The extension never injects scripts into or alters the DOM of websites you browse.
3. Permissions & Data Access
In accordance with Google Chrome Web Store Developer Policies, URL Tab Manager requests only the minimum essential permissions necessary to perform its advertised features:

4. Third-Party Sharing & Sale of Data
We do NOT sell, trade, license, or transfer any user data, URLs, or metadata to third parties, data brokers, advertising networks, or analytics services.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
All settings and preferences stored in chrome.storage.local reside entirely on your local machine. You can erase all stored data at any time by:
- Clicking Reset to Defaults in the extension options page.
- Uninstalling the extension from your browser, which immediately deletes all locally saved configuration files.
6. Children's Privacy
URL Tab Manager is a general productivity tool and does not knowingly collect or target information from children under the age of 13.
